Lois Jones
BIOGRAPHY

Lois graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with the gold medal. Her career started at a young age, playing the character of Beca Powell in the long running TV soap Rownd a Rownd for (Ffilmiau’r Nant/S4C) Her TV roles include, Miss Marple, The mirror Crack’d from Side to Side as Primrose Dixon (ITV Studios) Directed by Tom Shankland. Her most recent role was in the eight part murder mystery drama 35 Diwrnod (S4C) playing the lead Jan Richards directed by Gareth Bryn/Paul Jones and Rhys Powys. She plays the regular role of Lisa in the popular award winning comedy series Gwlad yr Astra Gwyn for (RONDO/S4C) she appeared in the family Christmas film Teulu Ty Crwn (Boomerang/S4C) Dwynewn in the political Welsh TV film ‘Y Bont’ (GreenBay Media/ Theatre Genedlaethol Cymru) and presented the gameshow ‘DAN GLO’ for Boomerang.
Theatre work include ‘The White Bike’ (Arcola Theatre London) American play ‘Boom’ for (BeMe theatre Munich) directed by Owen Lewis. Secret Cinema production of ‘Prometheus’, and ‘Grease’ for Future Shorts. ‘Y BONT’ for Theatre Genedleathol Cymru directed by artistic director Arwel Gruffydd.
Lois is the Voice of ‘New Work Connections’ for Real Radio.
