Michelle was born in Glasgow but has lived in Wales for all her life, she was a member of West Glamorgan Youth Theatre and The National Youth Theatre of Wales. She studied A Level Theatre Studies, English Lit and Dance.
Theatre credits includes: Portia in Merchant of Venice ( Pontardawe Arts Centre Theatre) Lady Macbeth in Macbeth (Tour) (Pontardawe Arts Centre) Granny Annie, Trivial Pursuits,Erogenous Zones,Roots and Wings, Family Planning, Kiss on the Bottom (Grassroots Productions) Blue Remembered Hills (Torch Theatre), Under Milk Wood (Clwyd Theatr Cymru), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Clwyd Theatr Cymru/ Tour) both directed by Terry Hands ,Twelfth Night and Cymbeline (Ludlow Festival), Twelfth Night and The Merchant of Venice (Wales Theatre Company/Tour), The Oystercatchers (Swansea Grand/Sherman Theatre), Flesh and Blood (Sherman Theatre/Hampstead Theatre), Garageland, Stick on Smiles and Rising Tide, Garageland (Steel Wasp Theatre Company), Chicago and Cabaret (Chrysalis Theatre Company).

Voice Overs-Michelle provides the voice for the character of Nib in the Cbeebies/BBC Wales/Worldwide children’s animation series Bobinogs.
Radio work includes: Cottage Industry directed by Alison Hindell (BBC Radio Wales).
