Biography

Tonya grew up in the Gower, Swansea, and trained at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Over the years Tonya has worked extensively within the industry. As an actress, voice over artist, acting coach, director, and casting director in both English and Welsh. Her Theatrical highlights include Our Country’s Good (Watermill, Newbury), The Crucible (Theatr Genedlaethol), White Feather (Theatr NaNog), Silas Marner (Theatr Clwyd), The Three Night Blitz (Swansea Grand), Cancer Time (Theatre 503), and the title role of Anne Frank (New Vic, Stoke) Film and TV highlights include Jamie Johnson (BBC), Lolipop (Boom Plant), Emmerdale (ITV), Casualty (BBC), Say My Name (Electric Entertainment) Wild Honey Pie (Unstoppable entertainment) And the Dark (Constantin Film)

She is best known in Wales as regular character Yvonne Evans in Pobol y Cwm
