BIOGRAPHY

Victoria Pugh is from Rhuthun, but thas lived in Cardiff for over 20 years. She trained at Welsh College of Music and Drama. Her many theatre appearances include ’Trwy Ddulliau Chwyldro’, ‘Deffro’r Gwanwyn’, ‘Porth y Byddar’  for Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru and ‘Macbeth’, ‘Trolius & Cressida’, ‘Romeo & Juliet’, ‘Under Milk Wood’, ‘Rape of the Fair Country’, ‘Song of the Earth’, ‘Hosts of Rebecca’, ‘Of Mice and Men’ for Clwyd Theatr Cymru)

Her recent television appearances include ‘Lan a Lawr’(Alfresco), ‘Y Gwyll/Hinterland’ ‘Gwaith Cartref’ (Fiction Factory), ’Stella’ (Tidy Productions), ‘Most Sincerely, Hughie Green’ and ‘Torchwood’

Her first job leaving Drama College was a film, ‘August’ directed by Anthony Hopkins. Since, she has starred in ‘A World After’ (post

production) and ‘Cymru Fach’ (Boom Films) and was in the hard hitting ‘A Way of Life’ (AWOL).

Victoria played Amy Evans in BBC Radio Wales long running series ‘Station Road’. More recently ‘Morys y Gwynt’, ’Expand This’, ‘Fire of the Dragon’, ‘You Shouldn’t Have Come’ for the BBC.  Her voice can be heard regularly, trailing on BBC Radio Cymru! She also voices many adverts, corporate videos, web games/interface in both Welsh and English for TV, internet and Radio. She recently appeared in an advert for ‘Collier’s Cheese’ and was in the controversial OXO advert that followed the ‘Oxo family’s’ departure!
